There will be no Bruno Mars concert for Aizat Amdan

KUALA LUMPUR: Aizat Amdan acknowledges that Bruno Mars is a great singer and enjoys listening to his music, but he has no plans to attend the singer-songwriters event in September.

The 35-year-old Akademi Fantasia alumnus said that Mars’ pro-Israel stance is to blame for this in a Berita Harian story published today.

Although Mars publicly supports Israel and its Zionist regime, Aizat stated that he also holds personal opinions about the Palestine-Israel issue.

Because of that, I wouldnt turn a blind eye and still go to his concert.

For us, there is always a limit. And why lend support to someone who is pro-Israel in this instance?

Aizat stated that no one (who is in his right mind) needs to continue supporting a product or person that helps finance the dictatorship that is carrying out genocide.

He went on, “We ought to be able to distinguish between right and wrong.”
