A.R. Rahman will greet fans in KL on July 8

KUALA LUMPUR: On July 8, A.R. Rahman, the acclaimed musician, will visit Malaysia for a special fan meet.

This massive concert by him at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil, here, on July 27, is being preceded by this fan event, which is anticipated to bring over a thousand attendees.

The first 1,000 qualifying ticket buyers will be admitted to the event.

Fan meeting pass redemption begins on Friday at 5 p.m. online at www.starplanet.com.my/ARRfanmeet.

The concert ticket number must be submitted in order to redeem one of the maximum two passes that each ticket holder may redeem.

The meeting is scheduled on July 8 at 7 p.m. at the Star Convention Centre, Menara PGRM KL. 

Rahman’s talk about his musical path and future projects is something that fans may eagerly await.  

Star Planet, the concert’s organiser, expressed their excitement to have Rahman visit Kuala Lumpur in a statement released yesterday. 

“The concert and this unique visit will be a treat for all Rahman fans and music enthusiasts. We are excited to share the enchantment of his music and to honour his amazing ability.”

Rahman’s classic tunes will be on display at A.R. Rahman Live in Kuala Lumpur 2024, enhanced by outstanding visual and aural production.

A stellar cast of singers, including Mano, Srinivas, Sri Rascol, Shweta Mohan, Shakthisree Gopalan, Blaaze, and ADK, will be performing alongside Rahman.
