PUTRAJAYA: Malaysian Border Control and Protection Agency (AKPS) Director-General Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain has left it to the government to decide on any action that may be taken following a viral video involving him.

Mohd Shuhaily said the matter had been brought to the attention of the highest levels of government as well as the Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN), and he was prepared to accept any decision regarding the issue.

“Whatever their decision may be, I will accept it because, to me, changing something comes at a price. And if that price is myself, then I am prepared to pay it,” he said.

He said this at a press conference held to address the viral video showing him reprimanding an individual at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1.

Mohd Shuhaily said he would leave the matter to the authorities for further investigation and hoped the process would ensure justice for all parties.

“In any case, I leave it to the authorities to conduct a thorough and efficient investigation. Let justice ultimately prevail for all parties,” he said.
