Tunku Mahkota Ismail Congratulates Ayob Khan on Appointment as FAM Integrity Committee Chairman

JOHOR BAHRU: Regent of Johor Tunku Mahkota Ismail has congratulated Tan Sri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay on his appointment as Chairman of the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) Integrity Committee.

Tunku Mahkota Ismail, who is also the owner of Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) football club, posted the congratulatory message on the HRH Crown Prince of Johor X account, along with a photo of his meeting with the former Deputy Inspector-General of Police.

Yesterday, Ayob was appointed Chairman of the FAM Integrity Committee for the remainder of the 2025-2029 term.

The appointment was among the key decisions made at the sixth FAM Executive Committee meeting held at Wisma FAM in Kelana Jaya.

The meeting was chaired by newly appointed FAM President Datuk Ab Ghani Hassan and attended by all nine other FAM Executive Committee members elected at the second FAM Extraordinary Congress 2026 on Sept 17.

Ayob Khan will lead the FAM Integrity Committee, while Malaysian Border Control and Protection Agency (AKPS) Director-General Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain has been appointed Deputy Chairman.
