Petronas Gas Shares Rise 0.45 Percent in Early Trading

KUALA LUMPUR: Petronas Gas Bhd (PGB) share price rose 0.45 percent in early trading today after the company announced higher net profit for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026, yesterday.

At 10.59 am, PGB’s share price increased by eight sen to RM17.66 per share, with 21,500 shares traded.

The gas infrastructure and utilities-focused company reported that it recorded higher net profit of RM453.33 million in the second quarter of financial year 2026, compared to RM450.19 million in the same period last year.

However, revenue for the quarter declined 5.6 percent to RM1.50 billion from RM1.59 billion previously, due to lower revenue from the utilities segment following a decrease in sales volume caused by scheduled maintenance activities.
