JobCare Selangor Offers Over 10,000 Job Opportunities, Salaries Up To RM5,000

KUALA SELANGOR: More than 10,000 job opportunities including professional positions with salaries of up to RM5,000 have been offered through the JobCare Selangor Carnival Tour since April.

Employment Insurance System Manager, Aaron Davidraj said the tour series in Kuala Selangor today brought together 28 companies with 4,000 vacancies involving the services, retail and professional sectors.

“For today’s tour, we have brought together 28 companies with 4,000 vacancies offered, including the services and retail sectors. There are also professional fields with salaries of more than RM5,000.

“The vacancies offered are based on the demographics and profiles of job seekers. So we bring companies to them, in addition to following market demand. We are targeting more than 200 attendees for the interview session today.

“Overall, throughout the organisation of this carnival, there have been 10,000 job offers and we believe it will increase in the upcoming series,” he said when met at the carnival at the Selangor Technical Skills Development Centre (STDC) here today.

The State Government plans to hold nine series of the JobCare Selangor Tour this year, starting in Kuala Langat as an effort to expand access to employment opportunities for the people of this state.

The carnival is targeting up to 40,000 job opportunities covering various sectors, in addition to featuring two main segments, namely JobCare Istimewa and JobCare Premium.

Previously, when presenting the Selangor Budget 2026, Dato’ Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari informed that the tour carnival will be improved next year, including involving certification and skills development programmes.

He said a total of RM1 million has been allocated to implement the initiative in an effort to address the unemployment issue.
