Stabbing Incident: Selangor Education Department Ensures Victim Given Best Treatment

KUALA LUMPUR: The female student injured in the stabbing incident at a school in Selangor is currently receiving treatment at a hospital.

Meanwhile, the suspect in the case has been detained by police, said the Selangor State Education Department (JPN).

According to the department, JPN Selangor is giving full cooperation to the investigation process being conducted by the authorities.

“The main focus at this time is to ensure that the injured student receives the best treatment and that assistance is given to the family.

“Counselling teams and Guidance and Counselling teachers have been mobilised to carry out psychosocial support interventions for students, teachers, and the entire school community,” it said in a statement today.

The department urged the public not to make any speculation or spread unverified information that could disrupt the investigation process.
