Youth Killed, Motorcycle Destroyed After Being Rammed

KUALA LUMPUR: A man was killed after the motorcycle he was riding was rammed by another vehicle and subsequently caught fire along Jalan Putatan, Putatan, Sabah, early this morning.

Putatan Fire and Rescue Station Chief, Musran Jabri in a statement said the victim, Fandi Jame, 19, sustained severe injuries and was confirmed dead at the scene.

He added that the incident occurred at 4.30 a.m. and the department received an emergency call regarding the crash about 15 minutes later.

“Meanwhile, one victim was confirmed dead at the scene,” he said.

According to Musran, the victim’s body was handed over to the police for further action.
