MSU Contributes RM500,000 to Appreciate STPM Top Achievers

PETALING JAYA: Management and Science University (MSU) through the MSU Foundation (YM) has contributed RM500,000 to top achievers of the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) 2025.

MSU said a total of RM60,000 was given to six Form Six Colleges and six Form Six Centres Mod 2 and Mod 3 National Best STPM 2025, with each receiving RM5,000.

“In addition, MSU also offers scholarships worth RM15,000 to candidates from the National Best Form Six Centre STPM 2025 who are accepted into MSU to pursue bachelor’s degree programmes,” it said in a statement.

The STPM 2025 Top Student Award, Malaysian University English Test (MUET) and Malay Language Proficiency Certificate for Foreigners (SKBMW) Presentation Ceremony was recently officiated by the Minister of Education, Fadhlina Sidek.

Also present were Deputy Minister of Education, Wong Kah Woh; Chairman of the Malaysian Examinations Council (MPM) and Vice-Chancellor of Sultan Idris Education University (UPSI), Prof. Datuk Dr. Md. Amin Md. Taff; Director-General of Education, Datuk Dr. Mohd. Azam Ahmad; and President and Founder of MSU, Prof. Datuk Dr. Mohd. Shukri Ab. Yajid.

MSU said the National Best STPM 2025 Student (Orang Asli Category), Hazaril Hakimi Hassan from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Temerloh, Pahang received a contribution of RM1,000 along with a full MSU Foundation scholarship.

“This initiative was introduced for the STPM 2025 cohort as an effort to appreciate student excellence, while also encouraging more candidates to pursue Form Six studies.

“This is among the key aspects emphasised by the Ministry of Education (MOE) through the MOE Strategic Plan (PSKPM) 2024-2030.

“It is to ensure that access to quality education can be provided to all students regardless of background or locality, so that the education sector continues to be a key government priority,” it said.
