Over 2,000 Job Opportunities Offered To Johoreans With Salaries Starting From RM3,500

PETALING JAYA: More than 2,000 job opportunities across various industry sectors are being offered to the people of Johor in conjunction with the Madani Career Protection Carnival organised by the Social Security Organisation (Perkeso) through the national employment portal MYFutureJobs.

Perkeso, in a statement, said the carnival brings together various prominent employers offering job opportunities from the operator level up to senior management.

According to the agency, among the companies opening direct interview counters are Celestica Electronics, Flextronics Shah Alam, Super Micro Computer Malaysia, Handal Indah, Guan Chong Cocoa Manufacturer, SK 8 Engineering, Tiger Balm (M), Novotel Johor Bahru City Centre and YTL Data Centre.

“The job opportunities offered encompass the manufacturing, transportation, services and food industries, thus providing a wide range of career choices to job seekers from various backgrounds and qualifications,” it said.

Perkeso said the carnival targets various groups of job seekers including fresh graduates, SPM leavers, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) graduates, diploma and degree holders as well as technically skilled individuals.

Additionally, it said those looking to enhance their career prospects and students seeking industrial training opportunities are also encouraged to participate in the programme.

“Interestingly, various positions on offer come with competitive salary packages, starting from RM3,500 per month for operational positions up to RM16,000 per month for senior management and professional positions.

“Visitors will also have the opportunity to undergo direct interviews on the same day without having to wait for follow-up calls, as employer representatives will be on-site to conduct screening and face-to-face interview processes,” it explained.

Meanwhile, Perkeso is also providing free career support services including career counselling, skills profiling and career development guidance by experienced officers.

Visitors can also visit the MYFutureJobs Rover zone which offers various interactive activities, exciting challenges and fun games with chances to win prizes and exclusive MYFutureJobs souvenirs.

In addition to job opportunities, the public can obtain information regarding Perkeso’s social protection schemes including the 24-Hour Protection Scheme, Self-Protection Scheme and Love Protection Scheme.

Interested individuals are encouraged to register early through the MYFutureJobs portal or come directly to the carnival location on the day the programme takes place.
