King Reviews Johor Development Progress in Royal Audience with Chief Secretary

JOHOR BARU: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, granted an audience to Chief Secretary to the Government, Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar, on Monday at Istana Pasir Pelangi.

The meeting, which underscored the importance of ongoing federal initiatives, was also attended by Public-Private Partnership Unit (UKAS) director-general Datuk Muhammad Razman Abu Samah.

During the audience, Shamsul Azri presented the latest updates on federal development projects in Johor, highlighting progress and key priorities aimed at enhancing economic growth and public welfare in the state.

In a statement shared on his official Facebook page, Shamsul Azri expressed his deepest gratitude to His Majesty for the opportunity to brief him, noting that the King’s guidance reflects a strong commitment to ensuring timely and effective implementation of projects that directly benefit the people.

He added that the royal insights would serve as an important reference in strengthening coordination and accelerating development efforts, particularly in Johor, which continues to play a strategic role in Malaysia’s economic landscape.
