Two men plead guilty to trespassing into Istana Negara

KUALA LUMPUR: The two suspects who made an attempt on May 17 to enter Istana Negara have entered pleaded guilty.

“The Penal Code’s Sections 447 and 511 were used to charge both.

On Monday, May 20, Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa stated, “Both entered guilty pleas.”

He continued by saying that one of the defendants was also charged under the Corrosive and Explosive Substances and Offensive Weapons Act, Section 6(1).

“To that charge, the suspect did not enter a guilty plea. It’s still unclear why they did the crime,” he remarked.
