MFMY Sdn. Bhd. Launches Southeast Asia’s First Integrated Semiconductor Manufacturing and Service Hub in Malaysia
Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah: MFMY Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of MeetFuture Technology (MFSG) and a leading provider of Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS) for the semiconductor industry, has officially inaugurated its first integrated manufacturing and service center in Southeast Asia. The facility, spanning nearly 2,000 square meters, is located at the KHTP SME Park in Kulim Hi-Tech Park (KHTP), Kedah, and is fully equipped for global delivery.

The launch ceremony was attended by senior representatives from the Malaysian government, key semiconductor clients, industry associations including SEMI, local supply chain partners, and MFMY’s parent company executives, marking a significant milestone in the company’s regional and global expansion.
Datuk Sikh Shamsul Ibrahim Sikh Abdul Majid, CEO of the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), said, “MFMY Sdn. Bhd.’s integrated hub in Kulim Hi-Tech Park reflects Malaysia’s strategic focus on high-value, high-technology manufacturing. This investment aligns with the New Industrial Master Plan (NIMP) 2030 and the National Semiconductor Strategy (NSS). Companies like MFMY are essential enablers of the future semiconductor ecosystem, providing automation and critical infrastructure that empower our wafer fabs and packaging giants to remain globally competitive.”
Puan Sunita Binti Abdul Aziz, YDP PBT TPHTK, highlighted, “MFMY’s establishment in Kulim demonstrates investor confidence in the district as a strategic industrial hub. We anticipate MFMY will contribute to local economic growth while innovating in the high-tech sector. Our local authority remains committed to fostering industrial excellence and sustainable development.”
Dato’ Haji Mohd Sahil Zabidi, Group CEO of Kulim Technology Park Corporation (KTPC), added, “This facility aligns with our mission to nurture high-value industries and support SMEs in scaling alongside global players. MFMY’s presence will enhance operational readiness and create collaboration opportunities within the KHTP ecosystem.”
During the ceremony, Mr. Tee Keng Teck, President of MeetFuture Malaysia, emphasized, “This hub is a critical node in our global AMHS network, serving over 50 wafer fab clients worldwide. It will reduce overseas delivery cycles, improve service responsiveness, and provide efficient, localized support to our global partners.”

This launch is a key step in connecting Southeast Asia to Europe and serving the global market.”
Looking ahead, the facility will serve as a launchpad for expanding MeetFuture Technology’s international footprint, delivering advanced, intelligent, and sustainable AMHS solutions. The opening of MFMY’s facility comes amid robust investment in Malaysia’s Machinery and Equipment industry, which recorded RM6.4 billion in approved investments during the first nine months of 2025, highlighting its pivotal role in supporting the nation’s semiconductor and advanced manufacturing sectors.
