KUALA LUMPUR: Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories), Dr. Zaliha Mustafa, campaigned for the Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate in the Mahkota by-election yesterday.

According to the Wilayahku portal, she stated that before starting her campaign, she met and had breakfast with the PKR machinery for the Mahkota by-election at the PKR Operations Room (BGU) in Taman Berlian Biru, Kluang.

“Alhamdulillah, I see that all the PKR machinery has shown great commitment to ensure victory for BN candidate Syed Hussien Syed Abdullah, who represents the Unity Government.

“InshaAllah, I will campaign in the Mahkota constituency and meet as many voters as possible here,” she said on Facebook.

Meanwhile, Zaliha mentioned that she also took the opportunity to have lunch at Medan Selera Anita with the PKR team.

“I also had the chance to connect and chat with local residents who were dining there,” she said.

She added that she had the opportunity to enjoy coffee at “The Original Kluang Rail Coffee,” which has been around since 1938 at the old KTM station in Kluang.

She noted that this ‘food hotspot’ is recognized as the “oldest railway kopitiam” in the Malaysia Book of Records and provides a retro vibe.

“I had toasted bread with plain tea before moving on to the next program and continuing my campaign.

“Remember my message: choose candidate No. 1, Syed Hussien Syed Abdullah from BN for Mahkota,” she said.
