KUALA LUMPUR: Traffic conditions on several major highways across Malaysia remained smooth and under control as of 9.40pm on Saturday, according to the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM).
An LLM spokesperson said traffic flow was moving smoothly on the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Highway (KLK), East Coast Highway Phase 1 (LPT1), East Coast Highway Phase 2 (LPT2), and the West Coast Expressway (WCE).
However, motorists experienced slow-moving but controlled traffic on the North-South Expressway (PLUS) E1 from Bukit Beruntung to Rawang due to an increased volume of vehicles.
On the PLUS E2, traffic was reported to be slow from Simpang Renggam to Senai following a breakdown involving a bus at KM22.0, which is currently blocking the right lane.
Road users are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and stay updated on traffic conditions through the PLUS hotline at 1-800-88-7752 or via the official X account @plustrafik.
