The Ministry of Education is seeking public input for the forthcoming education strategy
PETALING JAYA: The Malaysia Education Blueprint 2013-2025 will end next year, and the Education Ministry is now working on a new blueprint for education.
As a result, the ministry’s Proposals for the Future of Malaysian Education 2026–2036 Portal is open to the public for comments on the updated plan.
Up to December 31, the portal can be reached at https://www.moe.gov.my/pelanpendidikan2026/public/.
According to the ministry, the platform makes it easier to gather data, recommendations, and thoughts from the whole community about how to best move the country’s educational system.
The ministry released a statement on Monday, June 24, saying, “In line with the ‘whole of society approach’ concept, the ministry (also) welcomes proposals from various parties in the form of memorandums or proposal papers to help the ministry produce a comprehensive and holistic future education plan.”
It further stated, “The ministry is dedicated to ensuring the success of the education reform agenda for the benefit of the nation’s future generations.”
Then deputy prime minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, who was also the education minister at the time, unveiled the Malaysia Education Blueprint 2013–2025 in September 2013.
