KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 11: Police say early investigations have revealed no signs of foul play in the death of a man whose body was discovered inside his home in Kota Damansara earlier this week.
Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Shamsudin Mamat said officers were alerted to the case on Dec 10, after the man who lived alone could not be reached for nearly two weeks.
“Checks found that the victim had undergone head surgery several years ago. Based on our investigation so far, there is no indication of foul play,” ACP Shamsudin said in a statement on Thursday.
He added that a post-mortem will be conducted at Hospital Sungai Buloh to determine the cause of death.
“Further investigations will follow upon receiving the post-mortem report,” he said.
The case remains under review pending medical findings.
