KUALA LUMPUR: The Public Complaints Bureau of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Bukit Bintang division has introduced an e-Public Complaints System, a digital platform aimed at enabling residents to submit complaints, feedback and suggestions on local issues more efficiently.

PKR Bukit Bintang Information Chief Tengku Imran Tengku Zainal Abidin said the initiative reflects the party’s commitment to leveraging digital technology to empower public participation and strengthen the people’s voice.

He added that the system is expected to improve service delivery to the community while serving as a more systematic monitoring mechanism to ensure every complaint is reviewed and handled responsibly and with integrity.

“Today, we also held a familiarisation session with members of the media as part of our ongoing efforts to enhance public engagement and build stronger strategic relationships,” he said in a statement.

According to Tengku Imran, digital approaches such as the e-Public Complaints System are aligned with the reform spirit and the MADANI government’s principles of good governance and transparency.

He noted that PKR Bukit Bintang will collaborate strategically with relevant agencies including Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), the Immigration Department, Royal Malaysian Customs Department, National Anti-Drugs Agency (AADK) and the Social Welfare Department, particularly within the Bukit Bintang parliamentary constituency.

In addition, the division will conduct follow-up monitoring to ensure that complaints submitted are properly identified, given due attention and escalated for more effective and comprehensive action.

“This collaboration aims to ensure that every complaint is channelled to the relevant authorities in a more structured and focused manner, while strengthening coordination between elected representatives, the party and government institutions in addressing local issues effectively,” he said.
