Petrol price remains the same, diesel in Peninsular RM3.35

SHAH ALAM: The retail price of diesel in Peninsular Malaysia remains at RM3.35 per liter while Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan remain at RM2.15 per liter for the period from 13 to 19 June 2024.

The Ministry of Finance said in a statement that petrol for RON97 and RON95 remained at RM3.47 per liter and RM2.05 per liter respectively.

According to him, the government will continue to monitor the price of crude oil in the world to ensure that the welfare of the people is maintained.

“Setting the retail price of petroleum products on a weekly basis using the ‘Automatic Pricing Mechanism’ formula for the period from 13 June 2024 to 19 June 2024.

“The government will also continue to monitor the impact of changes in world crude oil prices and take appropriate measures to ensure that the welfare and well-being of the people is maintained,” he said on Wednesday.
