JOHOR BAHRU: Southern Shuttle and ETS services on the Kulai‑Kempas route are experiencing delays, following a power supply disruption caused by an incident in which a lorry carrying flammable liquid skidded near the route.

Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB), via a post on its Facebook page, informed that the disruption has affected train operations on the route, while cleaning works at the incident site and power supply restoration are currently underway.

“For affected ETS passengers, intermediary buses will be provided at Kulai, Kempas Baru and JB Sentral stations.

“For the time being, Southern Shuttle passengers are advised to use alternative transport. Fare differences will be refunded to affected passengers,” according to the post.

Meanwhile, as of 10.37 pm, KTMB informed that ETS train 9449 is experiencing a delay of 32 minutes, while ETS 9533 is 55 minutes behind schedule, though train delays may change from time to time depending on operational conditions.
