Tehran, June 16: According to a statement released by the Law Enforcement Command of the Islamic Republic of Iran (FARAJA) on Saturday, two people were arrested in northwest Iran on suspicion of being part of a terrorist group with ties to the Israeli spy agency Mossad.

After an in-depth intelligence operation by the Alborz Provincial Police Intelligence Organization, the arrests happened in Savojbolagh County, which is in Alborz Province.

Faraja said that the suspects were working out of a secret team house. They were allegedly making bombs, explosives, booby traps, and other electronic devices for sabotage actions.

Mossad faces accusations of engaging in activities that undermine Iran’s stability. Mossad allegedly directly employed the suspects, who planned attacks on public safety and important assets.

A FARAJA agent said, “This terrorist group was caught in the act before they could do their destructive work.. “They possessed materials for creating lethal weapons and were strategizing violent actions.”

Iran has long said that the Israeli government is spying, sabotaging, and killing people inside Iran’s borders. Mossad’s operations covertly target Iranian military personnel, nuclear scientists, and key facilities.

Tensions are rising, and strikes are still going on.
The arrests happened just one day after a new round of Israeli attacks on multiple locations in Iran. The attacks are said to have killed civilians, including women and children, as well as top Iranian military leaders and nuclear scientists.

In response, Iran started Operation True Promise III, a large-scale attack with missiles and drones on important military and industrial sites in Tel Aviv, Haifa, and other controlled areas.

Iran has said that the strikes were a legal act of self-defense and has threatened even stronger responses if Israel keeps attacking.

Iran promises to be alert.
Iranian security officials said again that they were committed to national security and that the Iranian people would stay aware and strong in the face of foreign plots.

“Our forces will continue to intercept and dismantle such networks,” a senior official from the Iranian Interior Ministry said. “Even though hostile intelligence services like Mossad are working nonstop to destabilize our country…

International observers closely monitor the deteriorating situation between Iran and Israel, raising concerns about escalating conflict in the region.
