Immigration Service Union (KPISM) Meets Chief Secretary Tan Sri Shamsul Azri to Discuss Staff Welfare and Service Excellence
PUTRAJAYA, 21 January: This afternoon, the leadership of the Immigration Service Union (KPISM) held a courtesy meeting with the Chief Secretary to the Government, Tan Sri Shamsul Azri bin Abu Bakar, at the Prime Minister’s Office. The meeting was led by YBhg. Dato’ Zakaria bin Shaaban, Director General of the Immigration Department.

The discussion focused on staff welfare, professional development, training, and potential opportunities for improving the quality of immigration services. It provided an important platform to strengthen communication and collaboration between management and the union, reflecting the government’s commitment to ensuring a more efficient, effective, and competitive immigration service.
