Foreigner Arrested for Attempted Theft on Flight

A foreign national has been arrested for attempting theft aboard a flight from Subang to Penang.

Authorities confirmed that the suspect is currently being held in Sabah, where investigations are ongoing. Once the probe is completed, the individual will be transferred to Selangor to face formal charges.

A remand order will be sought at the magistrates’ court in Balik Pulau to facilitate investigations under Sections 379/511 of the Penal Code for attempted theft.
