Dr. Jezamine denies Harith Iskander’s affair with Beauty Queen

KUALA LUMPUR: Dr. Jezamine Lim, the ex-wife of actor and comedian Harith Iskander, has denied allegations that their divorce was due to Harith cheating with a beauty queen.

While acknowledging her familiarity with the woman in question, Dr. Jezamine clarified that they were not close friends but merely acquaintances, as reported by Berita Harian.

“It’s all just speculation. Don’t take it seriously or focus on her—it’s a waste of time. They only know each other in passing. They’re not friends; they just exchange casual greetings at events,” she said.

Dr. Jezamine also commented on how their divorce has attracted individuals seeking to exploit the situation for media attention.

“With the media coverage of this issue, some people want to take advantage of it. Now I can see who our true friends are and who seeks media attention,” she added.

Dr. Jezamine made these statements after completing proceedings related to custody and matrimonial asset claims at the Federal Territory Syariah High Court.

When asked if any women had reached out to her following the rumors, she expressed a reluctance to engage with those bringing negativity into her life.

“I don’t wish to stay in contact with anyone post-divorce, especially if they bring negativity. If we recognize someone as such, we simply distance ourselves,” she said.

Harith Iskander also commented, stating that he was unaware of the rumors and believed someone was using the issue to garner media attention.

“I don’t follow stories from netizens. Some people exploit these situations for their own gain. In my view, such controversies heat up briefly and then fade away,” he said.
