Bangladesh Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus Arrives in Malaysia

Putrajaya: Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Adviser to the Government of Bangladesh, arrived today at 8:10 PM local time at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, on an official invitation from the Malaysian government.

During this three-day official visit, Dr. Yunus is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. The discussions are expected to focus on strengthening cooperation in areas including trade, education, technology, and human resource development. Several memorandums of understanding (MoUs) covering multiple sectors may be signed during the visit.

Government sources revealed that Dr. Yunus will also meet key members of the Malaysian Cabinet and engage with representatives of the expatriate Bangladeshi community in Malaysia.

Upon his arrival, Malaysian Minister of Home Affairs Saifuddin Nasution was present at the airport to warmly welcome Dr. Yunus.
