Anwar’s official dinner will be hosted by the president of China

The president of China will host Anwar’s official dinner. According to Malaysia’s ambassador to China, the Chinese president, who acts as Anwar Ibrahim’s counterpart, typically hosts the dinner, making it a significant honor.

According to Malaysia’s ambassador to China, Norman Muhamad, Chinese President Xi Jinping will honor Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim at a dinner in Beijing on November 7.

Norman remarked to reporters at this location that hosting the head of government is a significant privilege for a head of state.

His counterpart has invited Anwar to participate in the China International Import Expo, and he is currently on a four-day working visit in China. We expect him to appear in Shanghai tonight and deliver a speech at the expo.

He stated that the dinner was “a tremendous honor for Malaysia,” pointing out that his counterpart, Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang, typically hosts such an event for an official visit by a prime minister.

On November 6, Anwar will travel to Beijing for a courtesy visit with Xi in the Chinese capital. Since taking office two years ago, Anwar has made his third visit to China.
