“The struggle to achieve high ideals certainly demands sacrifice.

“When we remember the great event of the Messenger’s Hijratur and the success of the people in establishing the city of Medina, we must remember the episodes of suffering and misery that have enveloped the people for many years.

“However, His Majesty still educates the people to be patient and confident in His promises,” he said in a statement today.

Awal Muharram or Maal Hijrah is an event in Islamic history that commemorates the migration of the Prophet Muhammad SAW from the city of Makkah to Medina in the year 622 AD.

At the same time, the Prime Minister said, national policies that reflect an attitude of mercy and justice for all can be produced from spiritual strength.

“A state will always be blessed with success (falah) as long as noble morals and values are inculcated in the life of its people.
