KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has concluded his official visit to Nairobi, describing the MADANI Diplomacy mission to Kenya as a success in strengthening bilateral relations and unlocking new avenues of strategic cooperation.
In a statement posted before departing for Kuala Lumpur, Anwar said the short but impactful mission had achieved its objectives, broadening collaboration opportunities between Malaysia and the Republic of Kenya across various key sectors.
He expressed his gratitude to President Dr. William Samoei Ruto and the Kenyan government for the warm hospitality extended to him and the Malaysian delegation throughout the visit.
Anwar also conveyed his appreciation to the Malaysian ministries, agencies, and the Malaysian High Commission in Nairobi for their contributions in ensuring the smooth execution of all scheduled programs. He further acknowledged the efforts of security personnel and members of the media who supported the mission.
“Asante, Nairobi,” Anwar wrote, thanking the host nation as he and his delegation departed for Kuala Lumpur.
