Another tree falls in KL, briefly closing Jalan Pinang
KUALA LUMPUR: In the city here on Jalan Pinang, another tree has fallen. All lanes on the road are blocked by the tree at Menara Prestige, according to photos taken by a Kuala Lumpur Command and Control Centre (KLCCC) traffic camera. The road was temporarily closed on Monday, May 13.
Numerous parked cars were damaged in the incident, as seen in viral footage, although no casualties have been reported as of yet.

Spokesman for Kuala Lumpur City Hall claimed that their contractors had already arrived on the scene.
“As we speak, our team is working hard to clean debris and manage the effects at the affected site.
“Until normalcy is restored, we urge motorists and the public to exercise caution and avoid these areas,” the spokesperson stated.
Except for the Jalan Pinang treefall event, minor flash floods were observed in Jalan Awan Besar and along the KL Seremban Highway, according to an officer manning the KLCCC.
The tree and the other that fell along Jalan Sultan Ismail on May 7 of last week are roughly 600 metres apart.
In the prior event, one person was killed and two others were injured.
