Agong Grants Audience to Chief Justice, Army Chief
KUALA LUMPUR: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim today granted an audience to the Chief Justice, Tun Wan Ahmad Farid Wan Salleh.
According to a Facebook post by Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar, the meeting with His Majesty took place at Istana Negara, here.
On June 1, Wan Ahmad Farid was conferred the Darjah Seri Setia Mahkota (SSM) which carries the title Tun in conjunction with the official birthday of Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim at Istana Negara.
Wan Ahmad Farid, 63, was appointed as the 17th Chief Justice on July 28 last year.
In a separate post, Sultan Ibrahim also granted an audience to the Chief of the Army, General Tan Sri Azhan Md Othman.
