“Adam Adli, don’t kill your party’s reform spirit”, said UMNO Youth

KUALA LUMPUR: Exco of the Malaysian UMNO Youth Movement, Wan Muhammad Zuhir Ghazali reprimanded the People’s Justice Party (PKR) Youth Leader, Adam Adli Abd Halim following his statement about the Anti-Jump Act.
Wan Muhammad said, he was shocked when Adam seemed to forget how the government collapsed three times with successive Prime Ministers before the 2022 anti-jump act was enacted.
“After the 14th general election, has brother Adam Adli forgotten how the government that was formed as a result of the ballot box collapsed due to congregational migration by members of Parliament who were also from the Keadilan party. As a result of the case, three prime ministers took turns.
“Many public policies are disrupted, foreign investors change direction, our country is unstable and wavering. In the end, the innocent victim in this situation is none other than the people. Therefore, let’s not victimize the people again,” he said in a statement.
Wan Muhammad continued, Adam should not criticize politicians who are not in line with the actions of the Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat.
“Adam needs the advice of the Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat who comes from his party not to take actions that will add to the disaster in the future.
“The Anti Jumping Act 2022 needs to be revised. There are areas that must be improved. Every Member of Parliament must be aware of the reality of this group. We must admit that there is a weakness in this act that is half-baked,” he said.
In the meantime, Wan Muhammad said again, his party is concerned with the decision of the Speaker of the House of Representatives which may set a wrong example and precedent.
Clearly, this mistake may have to pay a heavy price in the future.
“It is not strange that the people are getting fed up with politicians who may only think about their own cache,” he stressed.
Today, Adam acted to reprimand the Malaysian UMNO Youth Leader, Dr Akmal Saleh who is alleged to be almost at the same level as the opposition in questioning the decision of the Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat.
Adam asked Dr Akmal to refer first to the view, information, facts, and position of the Unity Government.
According to the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, it is very sad if there is disagreement among the components of the Unity Government on important matters.
Recently, the Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat, Tan Sri Johari Abdul refused to vacate the seats of 6 former Bersatu Members of Parliament who supported the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is legal based on the law.
