Saudi Crown Prince and Turkish President Erdogan Hold Eid Call, Discuss Hajj Success

RIYADH, June 7 — Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman held a phone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Thursday, during which both leaders exchanged Eid al-Adha greetings and discussed the kingdom’s successful organization of the 2025 Hajj season.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), President Erdogan began the call by congratulating the Kingdom for the smooth and secure execution of this year’s Hajj pilgrimage, praising the efforts made to safeguard the well-being of millions of pilgrims from around the world.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman expressed his gratitude for the kind words and extended his Eid al-Adha greetings to the Turkish president, reaffirming the strong ties between Riyadh and Ankara.

The call highlighted the growing diplomatic warmth between the two nations and underscored a shared appreciation for cooperation in matters of religious and regional significance.

Both leaders also briefly discussed regional developments and emphasized the importance of continued collaboration to promote peace and stability across the Muslim world.
