police department has officially communicated the reassignment of 13 senior officers

The police announced that they will be transferring 13 senior officers, effective April 7. According to police secretary Datuk Kamaruzaman Abdullah, among the transfers is Datuk Ibrahim Darus, the deputy director of Bukit Aman Special Branch II, who has been promoted to deputy director of Bukit Aman E1 Special Branch.

In the meantime, Deputy Police Commissioner (DCP) Normah Ishak, the main assistant director of the Bukit Aman Special Branch Counter-terrorism Division (E8), has been appointed as Special Branch II deputy director, holding the acting position of Commissioner of PoliPolice.

The Personal Assistant Director (Intelligence/Operations) of the Standard Compliance Division, Integrity and Standards Compliance Department of Bukit Aman, Senior Assistant Commissioner (SAC) Saifullizan Ishak, is also participating in the transfer.

statement released on Wednesday, February 26, Kamaruzaman announced that he has been named Sarawak’s Deputy Police Commissioner, with the acting rank of DCP. He also mentioned that SAC Azman Abd Razak, the assistant director of Bukit Aman Special Branch E8A, will take over as the principal assistant director of E8 Special Branch, holding the acting rank of DCP. Ore, the Eastern Brigade Deputy Commander of the General Operations Force in Pahang, ACP Nasri Mansor, will take over as Chief of Staff for the Special Team at the Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom) under the Home Ministry, while the Negri Sembilan Special Branch Chief, ACP Faizal Ibrahim, has been appointed as the Selangor Special Branch Chief.
