Police in Selangor confirm four deaths during a Sunway performance

Selangor police verified receiving information about the deaths of four locals who attended a performance in Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya, on Tuesday.

Selangor Police Chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said the University Malaya Medical Centre (PPUM) filed police files on all of the casualties, including two women aged 20 to 40.

Despite today’s post-mortem exams, he stated that the cause of death was still “pending laboratory investigation.”

“We found no exterior injuries and classified the cases as sudden death (SDR).”

“However, investigations are ongoing to determine if there are any criminal elements or poisoning involved in the deaths,” he added in a statement this morning.
