MetMalaysia predicts a monsoon surge in the eastern peninsula from Dec 8-14

From December 8–14, the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) forecasts the monsoon surge to strike the eastern section of the peninsula.

The X platform stated that conditions could result in continuous rain in the area during that period.

According to the statement, weather models predict that a wind concentration will develop in Kelantan and Terengganu from Tuesday night (December 3) until early morning on Wednesday (December 4).

“This scenario could generate thunderstorms and heavy rain during that time,” it said.
