Israeli crimes ‘stain’ regime backers, quiet bystanders: Hamas

Hamas cautions Israeli regime sympathizers and those who remain silent about Tel Aviv’s misdeeds’ moral implications. Osama Hamdan, the Palestinian resistance movement’s spokesperson in Lebanon, addressed the Gaza Strip’s homicidal onslaught since October at a gathering in Beirut.

“These crimes of murder, starvation, thirst, disease, and displacement will remain a stain on all supporters and silent bystanders,” he stated Sunday. “Unless they act urgently to put an end to these brutal crimes, genocide, and the starvation war against our people, and to prosecute the occupation as a criminal entity hostile to humanity,” Hamdan warned, the regime’s supporters and quiet observers will face shame.

The words occurred on the 401st day of the conflict, which has killed over 43,600 Palestinians, largely women and children, since Gaza’s resistance groups launched a retaliatory attack on October 7, 2023. “For the 401st day, the Zionist occupation inflicts genocide, ethnic cleansing, horrific massacres, starvation, and dehydration on more than two million Palestinians in Gaza,” the Hamas official added. He called the regime’s use of starvation “a brutal tool” and “a disgraceful barbaric tactic that only war criminals and those devoid of conscience would employ.

”Hamdan claims that Israel has driven thousands of Gazans to disappear across the coastal sliver. He also noted the regime’s 36-day drive towards the north, which has increased its bombardment and suffocated the targeted areas.

The official said the dictatorship had committed “massacres against families in their homes, shelters, and displacement centers as punishment for their steadfastness, resilience, and refusal of forced displacement plans.” However, he said the organization and its partners were working hard to end Palestinian suffering. Hamdan criticized the US, the Israeli regime’s main friend, and other Western backers for their full-throttle political, diplomatic, and military support for the regime’s atrocities.

The official urged all Muslim and Arab countries that have links with the state to withdraw its ambassadors from their capitals, boycott the Zionist entity, cancel any agreements with it, and isolate and prosecute the dictatorship at international courts.
