Malaysia wins its first Korea Masters after Aaron-Wooi Yik pulls off a comeback victory

Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik of Malaysia defeated Jin Yong-Kim Won Ho of South Korea in the Korea Masters final today for a comeback win.

The Malaysians dropped the opening game 21-23 to the Koreans but won the second 21-19 to force a rubber.

Completing the comeback after one hour and six minutes, the world No. 6 pair subsequently won the third game 21-14.

Since its launch in 2007, this is Malaysia’s first time claiming the Korea Masters title and Aaron-Wooi Yik’s maiden World Tour title this year.
