OIC condemns Israeli aggression against Iran

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned Israel’s aerial aggression on Iran last month as a serious violation of its sovereignty.

The group stated on Thursday that the Zionist regime’s aggressive measures violate international law, the UN Charter, and Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Last month, Israeli jets utilized U.S. military territory in Iraq to fire long-range air-to-air missiles at Iranian military stations in Tehran, Khuzestan, and Ilam, killing four officers and a civilian.

Iran and all impacted nations have the right to safeguard their sovereignty, territorial integrity, security, and citizens under international law and the UN Charter, according to the OIC.The group maintained that Israeli atrocities in Gaza, Lebanon, and West Asia jeopardize regional peace, security, and stability.

The group ultimately demanded the UN Security Council’s swift and effective intervention as the primary international peacekeeper. Iranian authorities said they will reply to Israel’s aggression.
