Malaysia Airlines will provide free WiFi on its Boeing 737-8 aircraft
Malaysia Airlines said last year that it would start giving passengers free WiFi. At the time, this only applied to wide-body trips. These are five Airbus A330–200, nine Airbus A330–300, and six Airbus A350–900. By the end of the year, the carrier will also implement this on its Boeing 737-8 planes.
When Malaysia Airlines made the news, it was important to note that it already has four Boeing 737-8 planes in its fleet. Still, the company did say last year that they planned to increase the number to 25 by 2026.
In case you missed it, the airline no longer only lets Business Suite, Business Class, and Enrich Platinum passengers use the free WiFi on board. It’s now available for everyone on the trip. We also eliminated the previous limit of 100 MB per section.
