Marissa Dania’s newborn passes away shortly after delivery

KUALA LUMPUR: Influencer Marissa Dania Hakim has tragically lost her first child shortly after birth.

According to Harian Metro, Marissa, the daughter of entertainers Abby Abadi and Norman Hakim, was six months pregnant when she was taken to the hospital following severe abdominal pain.

Sources revealed that Marissa and her husband, Aslam, had attended a product launch event earlier in the day but rushed to the hospital when Marissa began experiencing discomfort. Unfortunately, the premature baby did not survive the delivery.

It was reported that the baby was buried the following day, with only Marissa’s father and close friends aware of the situation.

Marissa has since shared an Instagram Story featuring confinement food and a photo of Aslam, but has otherwise been silent about her pregnancy following speculation that surfaced on social media.

Previously, Marissa had not confirmed the pregnancy despite rumors sparked by what appeared to be a baby bump during her sister’s birthday celebration on July 16.

In December, Marissa’s marriage to Aslam, who was already married, made headlines, and was later confirmed by Abby on March 16.
