PERKESO Perak Rehabilitation Center achieves 63.05% completion

IPOH: The physical development of the National Neuro-Robotic and Cybernics Rehabilitation Center by the Social Security Organization (PERKESO) has reached 63.05% completion as of today.

Human Resources Minister Steven Sim Chee Keong stated that the center is now in a rapid construction phase, with full completion expected by May 1, 2025.

“This Rehabilitation Center is equipped with the latest robotic technology, including neuro-robotic and Cybernics treatments from Japan.

“The facilities and services will focus on holistic medical and vocational rehabilitation, based on the whole life-cycle rehabilitation concept,” he said in a statement.

Earlier, Steven Sim conducted an official site visit to the construction of the largest PERKESO Rehabilitation Center in Southeast Asia, located in Bandar Meru Raya, Ipoh, to review the progress of the construction work and project development.

Additionally, Steven Sim announced job opportunities for 400 vacancies at the National Neuro-Robotic and Cybernics Rehabilitation Center by PERKESO.

He encouraged interested individuals to apply for their desired positions through the national job portal MYFutureJobs (https://myfuturejobs.gov.my/).

“They can also attend the MYFutureJobs X KESUMA Career Carnival, which will take place for two days, starting tomorrow, on August 3 and 4, 2024, at the Casuarina Convention Centre, Hotel Casuarina @ Meru, Ipoh, Perak.”
