King and Queen express appreciation to national security forces

KUALA LUMPUR: The Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Ibrahim, has expressed appreciation to the national security forces for their service and dedication in protecting the sovereignty of the nation.

According to Bernama, the Raja Permaisuri Agong, Raja Zarith Sofiah, also conveyed her gratitude to the members of the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) and the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM).

As the Supreme Head of State and the highest commander of the ATM, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong also conveyed high regard for the sacrifices made by the nation’s heroes who maintain peace and order at all times.

“Thank you, national heroes. Your contributions and services will always be remembered,” Their Majesties stated in a Facebook post for the Heroes’ Day celebration today.

Their Majesties also extended their condolences to the heroes and soldiers who lost their lives while on duty.

“May the souls of those who are Muslim be blessed by Allah SWT and be placed among the righteous,” Their Majesties said.
