Teenager loses consciousness after vaping at school

CHUKAI: A 16-year-old Form Four student reportedly lost consciousness after using an electronic cigarette, or vape, at a school in this area on July 22. Witnesses said the student was seen vaping before collapsing and falling to the ground. The school administration was alerted around 10:30 a.m. The student’s father was notified and initially took him to a clinic before he was transferred to Kemaman Hospital. District police chief Superintendent Hanyan Ramlan confirmed that the father filed a report on Friday.
