Madani Cat Carnival to be held on August 10 to 11

KUALA LUMPUR: The Madani Cat Carnival will take place over two days for cat enthusiasts and lovers.

The Madani Cat Carnival will be held from August 10 to 11 at the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) Training Institute (IDB).

During the event, a cat volunteer program will also be launched.

The two-day program will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

A variety of exciting activities with cats will be featured.

The carnival will also see the presence of the Prime Minister’s wife, who is also the Member of Parliament for Bandar Tun Razak, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, and the Prime Minister’s Political Secretary, Datuk Azman Abidin.

The Madani Cat Carnival will offer special programs such as a cat passport counter (identity).

Other activities include free vaccinations (limited to 600 doses), an animal product exhibition, a mini zoo, a cute cat contest, and talks on animal welfare.

Animal welfare topics will cover issues such as infectious diseases from animals and ways to address them.

Additional activities for children include quizzes, coloring, and Q&A sessions.
