Saudi’s main emphasis during the G20 development conference is on world economy

At the G20 Development Ministerial Meeting in Brazil, Faisal bin Fadel Alibrahim, the minister of economy and planning for Saudi Arabia, has been speaking with officials from many countries on the status of the world economy.

Alibrahim discussed the topic of the G20 with Brazil’s Foreign Affairs Minister Mauro Vieira on the sidelines of the Monday conference, which runs until July 24, while serving as the G20 president.

The Saudi Press Agency stated on Tuesday that they also covered initiatives to improve collaboration in many spheres, including infrastructure, agribusiness, and renewable energy.

The minister also visited Saudi Arabia’s participation with the OECD and the Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development on regional and worldwide economic trends.

Alibrahim also spoke with Mohamad Maliki Osman, Second Minister for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Prime Minister’s Office of Singapore.

Their areas of concentration were measures to improve interactions in the industrial, educational, financial, and investment sectors.
