Local comedian Harith Iskander’s wife, Dr Jezamine Lim confirms that she has filed for divorce
PETALING JAYA: Dr. Jezamine Lim, the wife of well-known comedian and actor Harith Iskander, has revealed that she will be applying for divorce at the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur Syariah Court.
Berita Harian claims that Dr. Jezamine confirmed filing for Harith’s divorce last month and did not refute it.
“Yes, I have filed for divorce.” She said to the Malay daily.
“I don’t remember the precise date of the application, but it was approximately a month ago.
She was reluctant to provide specifics of her personal problems when questioned about the reason she filed for divorce.
“I have nothing to say. Maybe I’ll talk about it later,” she remarked in passing.
A court hearing for Dr. Jezamine and Harith’s divorce case has been scheduled later this month, according to sources.
When reached for confirmation, Harith,58, declined to comment further.
“On this matter, I have nothing to say,” he declared.
On June 12, 2010, Harith married Dr. Jezamine, a 41-year-old.
Zander Xayne, 14, Alessandra Jayne, 11, and Zydane Zayne, 9, are the couple’s three children.
