Petrol, diesel prices remain the same

KUALA LUMPUR: Retail prices for RON97 and RON95 petrol and diesel remain at RM3.47, RM2.05 and RM3.35 per liter respectively from 11 to 17 July.

FMT reports, The retail price of diesel in Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan remains at RM2.15 per liter.

The Ministry of Finance in its statement rates are set based on the price of petroleum products using the automatic price mechanism formula.

“The government will continue to monitor the impact of changes in world crude oil prices and take appropriate measures to ensure the welfare and well-being of the people is maintained,” according to the statement.
