PM completes the summit ceremony, the closing of the National Training Week
KUALA LUMPUR: The Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will complete the Summit and Closing Ceremony of the National Training Week (NTW) 2024, this evening at parking lot B, Bukit Jalil National Stadium.
According to Bernama, NTW 2024 which started on Monday, organized by the Human Resources Development Corporation (HRD Corp) under the auspices of the Ministry of Human Resources, aims to apply a culture of lifelong learning among the people through opportunities to improve skills and learn for free.
The free training program involves five main cores which are life skills; future skills; creativity and innovation; financial; and sustainable development.
The five cores were selected based on talent and industry needs in Malaysia.
As of Thursday, NTW 2024 managed to register about 330,000 Malaysians in 65,000 free training courses, surpassing KSM’s original target of 200,000 participants in 25,000 courses.
NTW, which was launched for the first time last year, successfully provided more than 21,000 free training courses to more than 129,000 Malaysians, in addition to recording more than 503,000 hours of training
