The affected water supply in the capital is fully restored

KUALA LUMPUR: The water supply that was affected in some areas in the capital following the suspension of work at the Bukit Nenas Water Treatment Plant (LRA), was fully restored at midnight last night.

According to Bernama, the management of Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) said users can obtain information regarding unscheduled water supply interruptions from time to time through official communication channels such as the Air Selangor application, Facebook, Instagram and X or call Air Selangor on 15300.

Air Selangor would like to thank users for their patience and cooperation throughout the period of unscheduled water supply disruption.

Earlier, the media reported that the Bukit Nenas LRA had to stop its work following an increase in color in the treated water which was detected at 7.30pm.

Air Selangor reportedly said that the work stoppage resulted in unscheduled water supply disruptions to some areas in Kuala Lumpur.
