Zara Qairina Inquest: Coroner’s Court Sets January 15, 2027 for Decision

KOTA KINABALU: The Coroner’s Court here today set January 15, 2027, to deliver its decision in the inquest into the death of Zara Qairina Mahathir.

Coroner Amir Shah Amri Hassan fixed the date following discussions with all interested parties involved in the inquest proceedings.

He said the parties had been given until December 15 this year to file their respective written submissions.

The court also set January 8, 2027, for clarification of submissions.

“The decision will be delivered in Bahasa Melayu,” he said.
